Introduction

Our NGO Ekta Navnirman Trust is dedicated to bring and create Ekta(Unity) among all human beings and resist all forms of discrimination on all grounds of caste, color, race, religion, sex or any other ill prevalent in the society. The trust aims to bring a new construction of society which is not woven by the threads of caste, color, race, religion, sex or any other ill prevalent in the society. To start with, Trust shall focus on the age old discriminated people and uplift them. Gradually it will cover other poor, orphan, widow, widower, single parent child and physically and mentally challenged persons as the resource permits. The utmost aim of the Trust is to “helping people, changing lives” and making the society free of all ills causing discrimination.

The idea of formation of this organization was floated by the officers from Rajasthan, who have faced, felt and witnessed discrimination due to caste problem in the Indian society. Since they consider themselves in a comparatively good position, they decided to contribute for the Nation and society to uplift its deprived people. These officers decided to contribute on monthly basis with a spirit of payback to Nation and society after the one time collection of Rs 1.5 Lakhs for Dangawas victims in Rajasthan in May 2015. These officers also decided not to expect any credit or personal gain for themselves. They decided to have an organization which can empower weaker and deprived and they can regularly contribute from their salary to this organization.

Group of these officers analyzed the things threadbare and determined to decimate discrimination in all its forms and manifestation and to create a new unity [Ekta Navnirman] in society among human beings where everyone can feel equal and not discriminated on basis of caste, color, race, religion, sex or any other ill prevalent in the society since times immemorial.
